The coverage of total useable Roadways allows a certain degree of flexibility for the mobilizing army, allowing access to vital areas of a given nation, its industrial sector and other modes of transportation such as ships at port. Intersections, bridges and critical mountain passes all come into play - whether in a defensive sense or for the purposes of mobilization. For the purposes of the GFP final ranking, the more usable roadway coverage the better a country's infrastructure.
